L'entreprise française d'intelligence artificielle, Mistral, a atteint une valorisation de 11,7 milliards d'euros après une levée de fonds auprès du géant néerlandais des technologies, ASML. Ainsi, ASML obtiendrait 15% du capital de Mistral, devenant le premier actionnaire de la start-up après ses fondateurs, qui contrôlent encore très majoritairement la société. Lancée en juin 2023 par Arthur Mensch, polytechnicien et normalien, avec deux autres français anciens chercheurs chez Meta, Guillaume Lample et Timothée Lacroix, Mistral a notamment conçu le chatbot Le Chat, concurrent de ChatGPT d'OpenAI.
